Almond, round or square? A practical shape guide
Choose around your taste, preferred length and the things your hands do every day.

Start with three questions
Do you spend most of the day typing, work with your hands or want a look for a special occasion? A length you like in a photograph may not be your everyday preference. Describe the goal in three words, such as short, simple and light. That is a useful starting point for a consultation.
Round: soft and simple
Round is worth exploring if you prefer soft lines without pronounced corners. In Luna Colour Studio, try a short or medium length and view the same palette on a rounded shape. The preview helps communicate an idea; it does not assess your real nails.
Soft square: clearer lines
If you like straighter lines, discuss a square shape with softened corners. For a fair comparison, keep the colour and length the same and change only the shape. That makes the effect of the silhouette easier to judge.
Almond: a narrower tip
An almond silhouette narrows toward the tip and can look more elongated in a photograph. Discuss achievable length and everyday comfort with your nail artist. Two clear reference images are often easier to discuss than a large set of conflicting ideas.
